The Incline Dumbell Press See muscles involved See dumbell Press Primary Muscles Involved Pectorals, Anterior Deltoid Other Muscles Involved Triceps, Serratus Anterior Execution Lay back with the elbows bent so that the dumbells are next to and level with the upper chest (Starting Position). Push upward until the elbows are straight (Finishing Position). Tips and Safety Avoid excessive abduction of the upper arm. Do not arch the back. Inhale while lowering the weight and exhale while lifting it. This exercise may also be performed on an exercise ball. |
